Emperor Music Press Inc.
Emperor Music Press was founded in 2004 with the idea of providing high quality materials for band programs.
The initial area of publication was music for young solo and ensemble musicians. Pieces are written with young musicians in mind and the writers of the selections are experienced middle school and high school music teachers. Emperor Music Press has eighty-five selections on the solo and ensemble music list for the state of Florida and also has selections on the state solo and ensemble music lists for Maryland and New York (NYSMA).
Emperor Music Press has a group of marches for young band along with concert selections in the Level I, II, and III categories.
The newest addition to the Emperor Music Press catalog is a series called Score for Four. Score for Four pieces are written to be playable by as few as four winds with optional percussion parts, all the way up to full band performance. The initial offerings in this series will be Level I and II selections of well-known public domain melodies. Level I and II Winter Concert selections are in the preparation stage and will be available before the start of the school year.
The object of this catalog is to provide quality music at the easy and medium level so students can have a musical experience at a young age that is a part of their musical growth and an encouragement to pursue solo and ensemble experiences that lead to a life-long enjoyment of musical performance.
This catalog is the result of personal experience and many suggestions from colleagues. Please feel free to suggest titles and settings that you feel would be a benefit to future young musicians.
Selections may be purchased through PayPal. Directors needing to use a school purchase order may screen shot their check out basket and email with a school purchase order for future billing.
